How we can help you
Employment – Our full range of services are available and we are giving advice to Individuals and Businesses on the Government’s furlough scheme. If you or your business are facing employment issues, please get in touch with Keir Hirst or Paul Nicholas, who will be able to assist you.
Family (Matrimonial issues) – We are taking instructions from families facing separation during this stressful period. As there are significant delays in the Family Courts at the moment, we are encouraging clients to consider Alternative Dispute Resolution for financial matters to help resolve their disputes. For more information see our Family Mediation and Family Arbitration pages, or contact Robert Adams to discuss your needs.
Family (Childcare Issues) – Our dedicated childcare team are continuing to help children & parents across the West Midlands and Mid-Wales. The courts are still operating and we are conducting meetings via Skype, Zoom and other video call programs to attending hearings remotely. Legal aid is available and we are processing new applications, and the team is committed to providing the same level of excellent service.
Family (Domestic Violence) – Our 24 hour Domestic Violence helpline is operating to offer legal advice to those who are experiencing abuse – the number is 07823 777 774. As with other Family Law issues, we are able to conduct meetings and hearings remotely. We can grant Legal Aid in cases where urgent applications to Court are necessary in order to ensure a person’s safety if at risk of immediate danger.
Wills, Trusts & Probate – The Wills, Trusts & Probate team is well equipped to handle new Wills, Will updates and Lasting Powers of Attorney remotely, and can give you advice to get them signed correctly by witnesses while following social distancing rules. Administration of Estates is continuing as normal with some delays in corresponding with third parties due to Covid-19 restrictions.
