Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Wace Morgan is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. We are seeking a full time (office based) dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our dynamic team and support our Residential Conveyancing Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors with residential and conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Conduct title checks, property searches, prepare relevant legal documents and ensure that we are meeting our compliance obligations throughout the history of a matter.
  • Manage client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other third parties to progress transactions smoothly.
  • Support with drafting, reviewing, and sending out contracts, completion statements, and other conveyancing documents.
  • Handle completion and post-completion formalities, including registering property with the Land Registry, SDLT and LTT transactions.
  • After a suitable period of training to independently handle certain types of client files to contribute to the teams financial targets

Assist Head of Department with deeds management and general department enquiries

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Paralegal qualification or relevant experience in conveyancing.
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process and property law.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Desire to contribute to the Department’s financial targets and motivation to assist in improving team’s efficiencies
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Case Management software, ideally Proclaim, would be an advantage
