Lucy Mattingly

Lucy joined the Residential Property team as a Solicitor in April 2025.

After undertaking her Law degree at the University of Portsmouth, Lucy obtained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. She completed her training contract whilst working for Gibson Young Solicitors in London, completing seats in Residential and Commercial Property, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013.

Lucy then spent the next six years working for two regional firms in Surrey and Oxfordshire, specialising in Residential Property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. This was followed by a career break of four years living in Emilia Romagna, Italy, whilst raising her children.

Lucy was delighted to have the opportunity to join Wace Morgan in her hometown of Shrewsbury. Her clients complement her on her pragmatic advice and ability to consider their issues from several dimensions.

Outside of work, Lucy is kept busy with her young family and regular travel back to Italy.
