Nicola Hawes to give advice on care costs

An event which will help people to plan for their future is being organised in Craven Arms this month.

Nicola Hawes, a key member of our elderly care team, will be one of the main speakers at the Shropshire Good Neighbours Day 2014.

The event, at the Craven Arms Discovery Centre on July 18, will include a range of information and workshops aimed at supporting older residents in today’s changing world.

“I aim to provide people with free impartial and informed advice about preparing for care costs in later life,” said Nicola.

“My talk will cover all the important information you should receive from your solicitor. This issue can be something of a minefield but the team at Wace Morgan has vast experience in this sector and we are always on hand to help,” she added.

The day is being organised by Shropshire RCC and will also feature an outline of government policy by Philip Dunne MP; a talk on dementia and finally lunch with Jim Hawkins of BBC Radio Shropshire.

Places cost £10 for two representatives from each ‘Good Neighbours’ scheme plus £3 per person for each additional attendees.

Anyone interested can reserve a place by phoning the RCC on 01743 342160.
