New Partner joins Wace Morgan
Wace Morgan are delighted to announce the appointment of a new partner.
Fiona Barnes has been recruited by Wace Morgan Solicitors’ Shrewsbury office, where she will head up one of the region’s largest private client departments.
A well respected and highly qualified lawyer, Fiona specialises in wills, powers of attorney, trusts and court of protection work, in particular wills and estate planning for farmers and business owners, including use of agricultural and business property relief. She is also experienced in advising elderly and vulnerable clients.
She is on the Mencap panel of approved solicitors, a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly organisation and a trustee of a Shropshire almshouse charity.
Fiona was educated at Priory School in Shrewsbury and the Sixth Form College and obtained her law degree from Leeds University. She spent five years in the British Army before joining the legal profession.
