Buffet boosts charity

Colleagues from a Shrewsbury legal firm came together for a fund-raising buffet recently – enjoying some home made food and collecting cash for charity at the same time.

The 70 members of staff from Wace Morgan Solicitors in Shrewsbury were invited to take part in the ‘Let’s Eat Together’ campaign as part of National Adoption Week.

Marketing and communications administrator Sam Briggs, who organised the buffet, said that he asked colleagues from the firm’s three Shrewsbury offices to contribute to the buffet, held in the boardroom.

“We wanted to do something to support Adoption UK as it is such a worthwhile cause. It was a very enjoyable way to spend a lunchtime and to raise money for the charity,” he said.
